Core Features of Adept Sage 50 BOM Tools Add-On
- A high speed search facility will locate Assemblies by product code, barcode or text within the product description.
- View a list of all Assemblies with cost price, sales price and quantity in stock.
- View a multi level BOM explosion in tree format.
- View all the components of a multi level BOM as a list with total quantities and cost prices.
- View a Shortfall list of all the components that need to be purchased to build a specified quantity of the selected assembly.
- The component and shortfall lists include an option to export a CSV file in the correct format for our Purchase Order CSV importer.
- You can select whether the component and shortfall lists show components, Assemblies or First Level items.
- You can also select whether the lists show items for a selected Assembly or for multiple selected Sales Orders.
- Shows calculated total cost price with an option to save this as the new assembly cost price.
- Optionally shows calculated total weight with an option to save this to the assembly record’s weight field.
- Assemble function will transfer stock for a multi level BOM with a single click.
- Disassemble function will disassemble assemblies back to the original components.
- Optionally assemble or disassemble to the first level only.
- Edit tool allows you to edit the BOM for a selected Product Code.
- Copy and Paste options allows you to copy the BOM from one Product Code and paste it to another.
- Import and Export options allow you to import or export a BOM to or from a two column CSV file.
- Big BOM feature simplifies the creation of an assembly with up to 2500 components.
- Choose a date and a unique Reference for the Assemble or Disassemble Transfer.
- What BOM tool shows you which assemblies a component belongs to.
- Replace tool will replace a component in all the assemblies that it belongs to.
- View a list of all open Sales Orders with tick boxes to select the orders that you would like to produce Component and Shortfall lists for.
- View a list of all the products and assemblies required for the ticked Sales Orders.
- BOM Fix tool will rebuild all your Product Assembly Level and Link Level fields.
- The Product & BOM CSV Tool is a great help alongside this BOM Tool.
- You do not have to log other users out of Sage while using this Add-On Tool.
- The program can be run from an icon in the Sage Product module tool bar (dependant on Sage version).
